Errata for (Gamers) STALINGRAD POCKET (2nd ed) Answers by Dean Essig 15 Jan 97 Official Published Errata 1. Counter errata listed on page 14 of the SP2 rules. 2. Infantry Regiments of the German 3 Mtr Inf Div and 60 Mtr Inf Div should have 1-3-9 backsides (not 2-4-9). The Infantry of the German 16 Pz Div should have a 1-4-10 backside (not 2-5-10). 3. Change the 8-12 line on the weather table to 9-12 (8 is listed twice). 4. Scenario 2 Turn 6 Soviet Reinforcements should read "2x Artillery Bdes" (not 1x). 5. There should be a bridge between 44.30 and 44.31 (otherwise Stalingrad is split by a river). Other Errata from Gamers (via email) 1. Soviet 38 Rifle Bde (of 51 Army) should have motorization symbol (no game effect). 2. Soviet 118 Area Defense (UR) Bde (of 62 Army) should not have a second step. 3. Rumanian 18 Div Arty Reg is actually a Bde (no game effect). Clarifications from Gamers (via email) 1. Supply from an HQ only has to be traced to an adjacent hex. However, the adjacent hex cannot be separated from the unit by impassible terrain. 2. Artillery units which are exploit-capable (i.e. have yellow boxed factors) can barrage in both the normal barrage phase and in the exploitation barrage segment. If under a reserve counter, though, reserve restrictions still apply. 3. HQ shifts are applicable to overruns too. 4. There is no bridge between 33.12 and 34.12 (the RR bridge was blown earlier in the campaign). 5. Cities/Major Cities connect any incoming roads in their hexes. In Stalingrad, you can assume that wherever the city graphic on the map connects adjacent hexes, that those hexes are connected by primary road. The bridge in Stalingrad (see errata) also connects to primary roads. 6. Ground combat units and HQs (but not Supply Points) can be used to claim occupation of victory hexes. ****
